Looking further we found that the e-commerce site was more protected it required user name and password or asked the visitor to register when he clicked “Add to cart” button, normally one should ask for user name and password at point of check out, so the client can “Add to cart” even see what payment & shipping options are available, and if he further decides to continue you should ask him to register or ask for login details. It is said any new visitor to your website decides in just 4-7 seconds after seeing the homepage or landing page that he/she should continue surfing further or not, so you have less time to convince the client you do have lot to offer, the key here is keep the information specific to what you have, don’t display out of stock products, keep the layout easy to navigate through and proper color has to be picked based on audience you would expect to sell. If it is kids product thank make it more colorful and use bright colors like Yellow, Green or Orange. If you are targeting adult population with age group of 25 – 35 years of age than use colors which would reflect their age and so on….. Something very important I saw was they did not had any online presence in form of blog or even presence on any social media networks like Face book or Twitter.
